  I am known to be a patient person and am often handed difficult people to work with whom others have no patience for, but there comes a time when even my patience is tried before I lose all respect for someone. During the last several years, I have had the unpleasant experience to deal with this Dr's rude and incompetent medical staff. Dr. Bridgers is someone who seems kind, and listens to your concerns as a patient, but his medical assistant/secretary creates an air of laziness, incompetence, rudeness, and a "Do not bother me" atmosphere. It directly stems from this woman that I have had enough of this office. I had a prescription which did not originate from this Dr's office originally, but was cancelled/denied by the secretary/MA without my prior notification, until I was seen on a particular date 3 weeks away! The medication in question was not a maintenance medication and was one in which is taken as needed... and i was down to two pills. The prescription couldn't be refilled as I needed it via the pharmacy due to her interference. I called the office and explained the situation to the same woman mentioned in a prior "review" and also explained it is not my responsibility to call in a prescription to my insurance company as she had stated, but was the responsibility of the Dr's office which had written it. This last part coming from my insurance company... and this same situation had happened in the past with a different prescription Dr. Bridger had written for me. Needless to say, if it wasn't for this secretary/MA's actions, personality, and careless, lazy attitude, I would more than likely not be searching out a new Neurologist today.
